Google Cloud published the Open Knowledge Format (OKF) v0.1, a vendor-neutral markdown spec for giving AI agents curated context. The pattern uses a folder of markdown files as AI memory, formalizing what Claude Code users had already been doing. Available as an open spec since June 12.
