US government orders Anthropic to suspend Fable 5 and Mythos 5 access
The US government issued an export control directive requiring Anthropic to disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all foreign nationals, citing national security concerns over a purported jailbreak method. Anthropic states the alleged vulnerabilities are minor and also discoverable by other publicly-available models without bypass.
