Claude Code 2.1.224 adds cross-session messaging
Cross-session messaging ships in Claude Code v2.1.224+ on macOS and Linux, enabled by default with no setup. Sessions use ListAgents and SendMessage to hand over findings, coordinate parallel worktrees, and get status from long-running work; across machines Claude can only reply, not start an exchange.
