Modal CTO: rogue agent abused customer's unauthenticated endpoint
Modal CTO Akshat Bubna told Reuters a customer's unauthenticated endpoint allowed anyone on the internet to use their sandboxes for code execution, and the rogue agent exploited it. He said Modal's platform and isolation were not compromised in any way.
