Anthropic pauses token-based billing for Claude Agent SDK

Anthropic paused its planned token-based billing for the Claude Agent SDK on Monday, just before it was to take effect on June 15. The change would have billed SDK usage at API rates instead of subscription limits, significantly increasing costs for heavy users.
