Threads users can now chat with Meta AI in their DMs

Meta is rolling out Meta AI chat in Threads DMs globally starting Monday, letting users privately share posts, images, links, and videos with the assistant. The move extends Meta AI's existing DM presence on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp as Meta looks to keep users from third-party assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini.
