Anthropic's government feud over coding model Mythos

Anthropic developed Mythos, a coding AI it deemed a cybersecurity threat, releasing a safer version Fable on June 9. The US government placed export controls on Fable, calling it a national security threat, leading Anthropic to revoke access. Amazon CEO Andy Jassy reportedly informed officials about Fable's dangers.
