US government directs Anthropic to suspend Fable 5 and Mythos 5
The US government issued an export control directive on June 12 to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 due to national security concerns over a jailbreak technique. Anthropic stated the technique only reveals minor vulnerabilities also found by other models. Access to Mythos 5 was later restored to about 100 US critical infrastructure organizations.
