Anthropic redeploys Fable 5 with new safety classifiers, coding falls back to Opus 4.8

Claude Fable 5 is being redeployed globally with new classifiers that block cybersecurity tasks; coding and debugging tasks will fall back to Opus 4.8. Anthropic also announced a consensus framework with Amazon, Microsoft, Google for assessing jailbreak severity and scaling collaboration with US government.
