Alibaba's Qwen3.8 launches with 2.4T parameters, open weights soon
Qwen3.8-Max is a 2.4-trillion-parameter MoE handling text and vision with a 1M-token context window, now in preview on Alibaba Cloud, Qwen Chat, and Vercel AI Gateway. Alibaba claims it trails only Anthropic's Fable 5 in benchmarks; Qwen3.8-27B also announced.
