Anthropic relaunches Claude Fable 5 with safety safeguards

Fable 5, a Mythos-class model, is now available with state-of-the-art performance but includes safety filters that route some queries to Opus 4.8. Until July 7, users get up to 50% of weekly usage on Fable 5.
