Anthropic releases Claude Opus 5

Opus 5 is Anthropic's most advanced Opus model and the first in the fifth generation, available on the Claude API, Claude Code, and Amazon Bedrock with 1M context at $10/$50 per Mtok. Anthropic positions it as nearing Fable 5's frontier intelligence at half the price.
