Claude takes over Anthropic app maintenance, rewriting desktop app to Swift

Anthropic engineer Boris Cherny's experiment has Claude running for 14-15 days rewriting the Anthropic desktop app from Electron to native Swift. He set up a Slack channel, proj-claude-maintains-apps, where Claude handles day-to-day maintenance, with a simple prompt: access a macOS GitHub runner, rewrite the app, and run both versions.
