Anthropic launches Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5

Claude Fable 5, a safe version of Anthropic's Mythos-class model, achieves state-of-the-art on most benchmarks with guardrails rerouting sensitive queries to Opus 4.8. Claude Mythos 5, boasting the strongest cybersecurity capabilities, is limited to trusted partners and deployed via Project Glasswing.
