OpenAI launches Patch the Planet to fix open source bugs

OpenAI's Patch the Planet initiative, run with Trail of Bits and HackerOne, provides free security help to open-source developers struggling with AI-generated bug reports. The company also released an improved GPT-5.5-Cyber model and the Codex Security scanner as a plug-in.
