Hermit v0.1.0, shipped October 25, 2026, trains an external harness adapter while the agent's model and harness stay frozen, so Codex or Claude Code agents adapt to new tasks without fine-tuning. Its MWM adapter hit 0.795 accuracy on CL-Bench database exploration vs 0.580 in-context baseline, though the prompt-only adapter scored 0.470.
