Anthropic launches Claude Sonnet 5

Claude Sonnet 5 features a native 1M-token context window and promotional pricing of $2/$10 per Mtok through August 31. Anthropic calls it their most agentic Sonnet, capable of using tools like browsers and terminals autonomously. It is now available as the default model in Claude Code and on Amazon Bedrock, Perplexity, and Databricks.
