Anthropic redeploys Claude Fable 5 after US export controls lifted

The US government lifted export controls on Claude Fable 5 on June 30, allowing Anthropic to redeploy the model globally on July 1 with new safeguards. Fable 5 is available on Claude.ai, Claude Code, and via API, with up to 50% of weekly usage included through July 7 for paid plans. Mythos 5, Anthropic's cybersecurity model, was restored for US organizations on June 26.
