Anthropic adds usage-based pricing for Claude Fable 5

Starting July 12, Anthropic will charge subscribers extra usage-based fees for Claude Fable 5: $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens. This is the first time a frontier AI lab has gated a consumer model behind usage-based billing, signaling a shift from flat subscription pricing.
