Google says YouTube terms allow training Lyria on uploaded music

Google filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit by independent musicians, arguing that YouTube's terms of service grant a broad license to use uploaded content for AI training, including for its Lyria 3 model. The plaintiffs' complaint is based on the "unsupported hypothesis" that Google used their specific works, Google claims.
