OpenAI and Anthropic limit new AI models to Trump-approved customers

OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol is restricted to Trump-approved customers, and Anthropic's Mythos 5 is approved for limited release to cyber defenders. Anthropic also took offline its Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models earlier this month after a Trump directive. The government cited concerns over the models' ability to find software vulnerabilities.
