Linux Foundation launches Akrites to protect open source from AI attacks

The Linux Foundation launched Akrites with 19 founding members including Amazon, Google, OpenAI, and JPMorganChase to patch critical open-source vulnerabilities before AI attackers can exploit them. Less than 5% of AI-discovered open-source vulnerabilities have been patched, according to Endor Labs CEO Varun Badhwar.
