Frontier lab employees sign open letter urging ability to pace AI development

A petition signed by Anthropic's CEO, co-founders, and senior staff, plus other frontier lab employees, calls for tools to deliberately pace frontier AI development. Anthropic says its own research on recursive self-improvement points to the need for such pacing. Zvi Mowshowitz calls it the most important open letter in years.
