It's not about Anthropic vs. OpenAI anymore
The U.S. government pulled Anthropic's Fable and Mythos models two weeks ago. Now OpenAI's GPT 5.6 will only be released in limited preview, with approval required customer by customer. If preview lasts only weeks, it could limit economic upside, but Mythos has been in preview for months.
