ChatGPT helps Reddit user uncover unknown family history

A Black American Reddit user says ChatGPT discovered a whole section of their family history they didn't know existed, working from old insurance paperwork saved on their father's side. The r/ChatGPT post notes tracing ancestry is harder for Black Americans "because, well, we weren't counted."
