OpenAI prioritizes security patching over new vulnerability discovery
OpenAI's Codex Security plugin has processed over 30 million commits and helped fix 70,000 vulnerabilities since March. The company also fully launched GPT-5.5-Cyber, scoring 85.6% on the CyberGym benchmark, and introduced the Patch the Planet initiative with Trail of Bits and HackerOne.
