Anthropic floats proposal to lift US ban on Mythos, Fable AI models

Anthropic proposed to Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick to lift export controls on its Mythos and Fable AI models, pledging closer White House cooperation and faster security remediation. The ban was triggered after Amazon CEO Andy Jassy warned of possible safety guardrail bypasses. Talks are progressing but no timetable for a fix.
