AWS study: 90% of teams used same AI assistant, but velocity varied 3x vs 4.5x
Amazon observed 50 ordinary teams for nearly a year; 90% used the same coding assistant. Half saw under 3x deployment velocity improvement, the other half a median of 4.5x.
