Anthropic embeds engineers at NSA for offensive cyber ops while warning about AI pause
Anthropic placed about six engineers at the NSA to deploy its Mythos AI model for offensive cyber operations, potentially targeting China and Iran, per a Financial Times report. On the same day, Anthropic published a report warning that AI is approaching recursive self-improvement and called for a coordinated global pause.
