US government orders suspension of Anthropic's Fable, Mythos access
The US government issued an export control directive suspending all access to Anthropic's Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by foreign nationals, forcing Anthropic to disable the models for all customers. Anthropic had previously released Mythos Preview, which it said was too dangerous to make public due to advanced cybersecurity capabilities, followed by the safer Fable model.
