OpenAI launches Patch the Planet initiative to fix open source bugs

OpenAI announced Patch the Planet, an effort to help open-source maintainers find and patch vulnerabilities, in collaboration with Trail of Bits, HackerOne, and Calif. The company also released an improved GPT-5.5-Cyber security model and expanded trusted access for governments.
