US government directs Anthropic to suspend Fable 5 and Mythos 5
The US government issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5, citing national security concerns. Anthropic received the directive at 5:21pm ET and must disable the models for all customers to comply. The company notes that the alleged jailbreak method only reveals minor vulnerabilities also discoverable by other models.
