Fireworks benchmarked Kimi K3 (open) against Fable 5 (closed) on ~1,030 agentic tasks, finding them competitive — 92.4% vs 92.6% on SWE. Oracle routing selected K3 for 72–96% of tasks, suggesting a near-perfect router may be achievable.
