US govt orders suspension of Anthropic's Fable 5 and Mythos 5
The US government on June 12 issued an export control directive suspending all access to Anthropic's Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models by foreign nationals, citing national security concerns over a jailbreak method. Anthropic stated the vulnerabilities were minor and also found by other public models, and by June 27 about 100 US organizations regained access.
