Surflo is a feed-forward 3D reconstruction model that uses a global latent state instead of per-view pointmaps, which the author says grow linearly with input count and emit overlapping, unaligned outputs. Geometry's invariance to viewpoint means any image collection is a redundant encoding of one 3D state.
