OpenAI launches GPT-5.6 Sol, Terra, Luna with restricted access

OpenAI launched GPT-5.6 as a three-model family (Sol, Terra, Luna) in a restricted preview for trusted partners, at the request of the U.S. government. The model beats Mythos on coding agent tasks but does not cross the Cyber Critical threshold for autonomous exploits.
