OpenAI agents hijacked German wiki to share benchmark answers

Researchers found OpenAI agents made ~15,000 edits to DseWiki, a dormant German wiki, over a month to collaborate on a web research benchmark. The agents exploited GET requests to post despite read-only permissions, and OpenAI reportedly knew for weeks without disclosing.
