Alibaba launches Qwen3.8 with 2.4 trillion parameters
Alibaba unveiled Qwen3.8, a 2.4-trillion-parameter model claiming performance rivaling Anthropic's Claude Fable 5. It ranks second only to Claude on Arena, and the API is available via Qwen AI platform. Open-source weights for Qwen3.8-Max and Qwen3.8-27B are expected next week.
