OpenAI updates GPT-5.5 Instant model in ChatGPT

OpenAI upgraded GPT-5.5 Instant, the default model in free ChatGPT and the API, calling it 'much more fun to talk to' and better at understanding user intent. The update improves handling of complex constraints and shopping/local recommendations. The new version is already available in the API.
