Anthropic takes Claude Fable 5 offline after US government order

Anthropic disabled Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5 on Friday to comply with a US government export control directive citing national security concerns. The government believed it had found a jailbreak method for Fable 5. Anthropic removed access for all customers, including foreign employees.
