Alibaba launches Qwen3.8-Max, a 2.4T-parameter MoE model

Alibaba released Qwen3.8-Max, a 2.4-trillion-parameter mixture-of-experts model, on August 3, 2026. It accepts text, image, and video input and is priced at $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens. Open weights are expected next week, along with Qwen3.8-27B.
