Read original source →huggingface.co
Turbo is an accelerated checkpoint of open-weight Qwen-Image-2.1 that generates and edits images in 8 denoising steps instead of the base model's 40-step default — 5x fewer steps on the same 7B architecture. It pairs a 7B visual generator with a Qwen3-VL 8B text encoder and keeps the same 2K output and editing feature set.
