Google opens Home to AI agents via MCP early access
Google rolled out early access to a Model Context Protocol server for Google Home, letting MCP-supporting agents like Claude, ChatGPT, Hermes, OpenClaw and Google Antigravity control devices and read event history. Access goes first to US subscribers of Google Home Premium Advanced, the $20-per-month tier.
